Courtney Deshawn

Christian, Entrepreneur, Licensed Cosmetologist, Facial Specialist, business owner and founder of Fiercely Made Cosmetics. Courtney Deshawn, born on March 1st, 1995 and raised in Orlando, Florida has always had the passion to create and inspire. After graduating from Edgewater High School in 2013, she went off to college to become a physical therapist. Although what she had set her mind on to do did include helping others, there still seemed to be something missing for Courtney. Her dream was never too far, in fact it was always right in front of her. Courtney's interest in beauty began at a very young age, however it was never something she thought she could actually turn into a lifestyle and career. Once Courtney dropped her college courses she soon realized the thing that had been missing for her was creativity. As the years went by Courtney contemplated on going to cosmetology school. As She contemplated she began offering makeup services from home to friends and family members on the side as she worked in retail and childcare. She hit many bumps in the road but in the right season and at the right time she found herself enrolled into cosmetology school like she had always dreamed. Courtney began growing her clientele before and while attending cosmetology school. Once she received her license in 2020 she began working full-time as a makeup artist/cosmetologist in a salon suite. This is just a brief story behind the face of Fiercely Made Cosmetics. Courtney burns with the desire to share her story from the good to the bad with hopes to be able to reach back and inspire others.
